Syllabus: METHODOLOGY OF PEDAGOGICAL RESEARCH
Prerequisites: Basic concepts of general Pedagogy
Target skills and knowledge:: To direct to the critical reflection on the theoretical bases and on the methodological problems of the pedagogical search.
To promote specific practical and theorical competences related to the autobiographical method.
Course unit contents: - epistemology, methodology and method
- quantitative and qualitative
- the unifying paradigm of the methods in educational research
- some methods of qualitative research
- the autobiographical method
- (attending students): developing of an autobiographical-research project aiming to develop the educator’s pedagogical, project-managing and methodological skills and competences.

compulsory written examination with two open questions about the most important themes of the course. In order to sit the written examination, students must hand in a paper (two copies) 15 days before the written examination.
