Syllabus
Prerequisites:
Target skills and knowledge:: Students at the end of the course will be able to:
- use the lexicon regarding the field of adult education
- to know the andragogical and human resource development theories of adult education
- to know the different theories about learning
- to know the key elements and factors of an educational methodology
- to understand the role of experience in the field of adult education
- to know the weakness and strengthens of educational methodologies
- to understand the value of experience as development factor of the persons at work
Course unit contents: Contents Prof. Monica Fedeli:
- Adragogical Theory of adult learning;
- the development of adult education and its theories;
- the competences of educator and his/her role;
- the key elements of an educational methodology. Methodology as resource
- the educational process;
- the theories and models of experiential learning;
- the experience and experiential education;
- the experience as factor of training and development;
- the experiential methodologies

- the planning of experiential learning
- the practice of experiential training, workshops and exercises;
- some case studies and some experiences coming from different contexts;
- the follow-up of experiential education in the organization
Planned learning activities: The course aims to let students rich a good level of knowledge of educational and training methodologies and of the main national and international theories regarding adult education.
The course deals with adult learning end methodologies as resources to teach and learn
The aim of the course will be to face the theme of human resource development through education, developing competences of reflection and personal reworking thanks to the study of theory and the practical experimentation.
