Course unit contents: Surgical problems and indications for surgical treatment of:
• Diseases of the thyroid gland (goiter, thyroid nodule, hyperthyroidism, benign and malignant)
• Primary and secondary hyperparathyroidism
• Hyperfunctioning diseases of the adrenal gland, benign and malignant adrenal tumors
• Neuroendocrine tumors (NET): carcinoids, endocrine tumors of the pancreas
Planned learning activities and teaching methods: Lessons with projection of slides and video. Educational material containing a summary of the slides will be distributed
