Prerequisites: Knowledge of the basic structures of pedagogical themes and elements that characterize the general and social pedagogy
Target skills and knowledge:: - Invoke the features of the epistemological basis of pedagogy as a scientific and systematic approach to acting education.
- Identify the fundamental nodes of social pedagogy, especially in reading function of the social demand for education.
- Deepen the idea of subsidiarity, in pedagogical perspective, such as key idea for an educational approach to personal services, both within social services, such as that of the Education and Training.
- Identify the characteristics of a pedagogical "educational leader", with particular attention to the characteristics of the school manager.
Course unit contents: The course aims to provide useful information for the consolidation of a "mindset" For educational professionals who are called to work in personal services, including the particular area that the school is also in view to assume roles managerial type. Is in the context of the overall mental approach (culture of education) that are on the management of educational tasks, the care of the educational relationships, the ability to read the social demand for education.
Particular attention will be devoted to the issue of subsidiarity, declined in pedagogical perspective, which will also look at the laboratory, which aims to promote the clarification of basic concepts by means of a comparison made with collaborative tools.
A specific space will also be dedicated to the professional school manager, as paradigmatic examples of the skills of an "educational leader".
Planned learning activities: Nature of the "look pedagogical" and tools to read the social demand for education. The concept of subsidiarity.
Pedagogical culture of subsidiarity in relation to the education of those working in the teaching professions.
Size of work in professional services to people in the social and educational, with special attention to the functions of the "educational leader", according to the different models of leadership, related to different forms of organization (management).
Depth investigation on the functions of leadership of the school manager, as "pedagogical profession".

Teaching methods: Interactive Lectures, "in presence " and Workshop "on line".
Assessment criteria: The final assessment consists of a written test to be conducted in the classroom with open and closed questions, the key issues addressed during the course, in reference to the bibliography. An integral part of the overall assessment is the evaluation of the workshop (which is assigned 1 / 3 of the overall assessment)
