Syllabus
Prerequisites: Good knowledge of History of political thought
Target skills and knowledge:: To give an historical frame of the evolution of the juridical-political thought of human rights in the modern and contemporary Age
Course unit contents: Study of the juridical and politicl thought of human rights, particularly from Francisco de Vitoria's Relectiones to Ugo Grotius' De iure belli ac pacis
Planned learning activities: The course intends to examine the birth and the collocation of human rights in the modern juridical and political thought. The students will study the principle texts of the philosophers of the School of Natural Law and their interpretations in XX century.
