EDUCATION 1/1998-1/2001, Ph.D in European Integration History, University of Pavia. Final thesis: Festina lente: gli industriali italiani e l’integrazione europea (1947-1957), winner, ex-aequo, of the Spadolini-Nuova Antologia national award for the best Ph.D. thesis in Italian Contemporary History; 1997 Master degree in European Studies (Final Mark 70/70) at the Faculty of Political Sciences of the University of Florence. Final thesis on the historiographical interpretations of European Integration; 1995 Faculty of Political Sciences of the University of Florence, Political Sciences Degree (cum Laude) thesis in Strategic Studies. TEACHING 2009- : Diplomatic History 2 (45 hrs), School of Politics and Economics, Department of Political Science, Law and International Studies, University of Padua. 2009-2010: History of International Organizations (62 hrs), Faculty of Political Sciences, University of Padua. 2006-2008: Modern Economic and Social History (30 hrs), Faculty of Political Sciences, University of Padua. RESEARCH ACTIVITIES 2015-, member of the Histcom3 Project on the history of the EU Commission financed by the EU Commission. 2012-15 participant to the FIRB, The Engines of Growth: for a Global History of the Conflict Between Renewable, Fossil, and Fissile Energies (1972-1992). 2008-11 participant to the Research Project “Institutional Changes and Trajectories of Socio-Economic development Models” in the cadre of the 7th EU framework programme. 2008-2011 member of the Working Group 2 (History) part of the Thematic Network of European Studies (SENT) financed by the EU Commission. Since 2003 member of four National Research Project (PRIN) and six University of Padua Research Project (Progetti strategici e PRAT). Since 2006 I was responsible of various research grant financed by the University of Padua (ex 60%).
