Brief description of the degree course
Caratteristiche e finalità
Il corso di laurea in Statistica per l'economia e l'impresa offre una formazione interdisciplinare in statistica ed economia, con particolare riferimento alle applicazioni in ambito aziendale, per la gestione operativa delle imprese, e in ambito socio-economico e finanziario, per l'analisi dei comportamenti individuali e di sistema. Le attività formative consentono allo studente di acquisire tutte le competenze spendibili, ad esempio, (I) nelle applicazioni statistiche per l'analisi di mercato e per la misurazione dei fenomeni di mercato, nelle metodologie della ricerca di mercato e di rilevazione e analisi, della soddisfazione del cliente; (II) nella gestione delle imprese, per la conoscenza, il management, il controllo e la valutazione dei processi aziendali e dei sistemi di gestione della qualità nelle imprese di produzione e di servizi; (III) nelle applicazioni della statistica alla finanza; (IV) nelle applicazioni per lo studio dei fenomeni economici, sociali e demografici, in particolare per quanto riguarda le analisi quantitative delle scelte e dei comportamenti sociali ed economici.

Ambiti occupazionali
La collocazione professionale dei laureati in Statistica per l'economia e l'impresa può avvenire in diversi ambiti: aziende di produzione e servizi, aziende commerciali, aziende profit e no profit, istituti bancari e finanziari, enti pubblici. Coerentemente con i propri interessi e le proprie attitudini, gli studenti hanno l'opportunità di specializzarsi nelle principali applicazioni statistiche all'analisi di mercato e alla gestione delle imprese, alla finanza, ai fenomeni sociali. Con queste competenze, possono trovare collocazione in diverse aree funzionali quali il marketing strategico, l'analisi del mercato obiettivo, la previsione delle vendite, la ricerca e lo sviluppo, il supporto alla direzione generale, la pianificazione e il controllo, la certificazione della qualità, la gestione di sistemi informativi economici, l'analisi delle politiche industriali, del lavoro e territoriali, gli uffici studi, la promozione finanziaria, l'analisi dei mercati finanziari e dei portafogli di investimenti, la valutazione della soddisfazione dei clienti o degli utenti, la conduzione di indagini campionarie, le previsioni demografiche.
