Brief description of the degree course
Characteristics and objectives
The Bachelor Degree in Information Engineering provides in-depth training in both the physical / mathematical field, and in the methodological disciplines of Information Technologies (IT). The educational objectives of the course are characterized by a strong scientific flavour, and aim at the acquisition of: extensive and in-depth methodological knowledge of the physical-mathematical and IT areas; design skills in the most innovative technology areas, based on the use of the most modern tools.

Occupational opportunities
The typical professional opportunities for someone with the Bachelor Degree in Information Engineering are: innovation and development of production, design, planning and programming, systems management, both in private practice and in manufacturing or services or in the public administration. Graduates can find employment in companies operating in information technology, electronics, bio-engineering, automation and telecommunications.

Access modalities
The course gives access to Master degree programs in Bioengineering, Electronic Engineering, Automation Engineering, Computer Engineering and Telecommunications Engineering, according to the admission rules that will be indicated in the specific admission notices.
