Syllabus
Prerequisites: No specific pass of these exams are required.
Target skills and knowledge: The student acquires knowledge on:
a) general aspects of cytology, anatomy and physiology, with special reference to species highly relevant to agriculture and forestry.
b)the structure and main metabolic processes of forestry and agricultural plant species. At the end of the course, students will possess notions on structural, morphological and functional characteristics of higher plants. The acquired knowledge will be necessary for the study of the following years subjects related to plant biology.
Examination methods: The final examination consists of 60 multiple choice questions.
Assessment criteria: During the examination, the student should demonstrate the acquired knowledge as well as the ability to explain and present the required questions.
