Syllabus
Prerequisites: Basic commutative algebra and basic geometry of the first 3 years in math.
Target skills and knowledge: We will learn the method of the schemes and the way how to make
more arithmetic the study of the geometry
Examination methods: There will be a written examination
Assessment criteria: We will try to see how the student will learn the new methods as schemes, sheaves etc in order to attack geometric problems
Course unit contents: schemes, sheaves and basic algebraic geometry.
