Syllabus
Prerequisites: Course prerequisites: "Psychometrics" course and related skills.
Target skills and knowledge: The use of R software for data analysis with emphasis on regression models, path analysis and mixed effects models.
Examination methods: There will be a final assignment consisting of multiple-choice questions.
Assessment criteria: The evaluation will be based on the skills acquired and mastered in the application of the data analysis.
Course unit contents: Elements of statistical inference, sampling distributions, parameter estimates.
Simple and multiple linear regression models: assumptions and application contexts.
Multivariate models, path analysis and mediation models.
Multilevel models.
All topics will be treated in the applied form by using R software.
Planned learning activities and teaching methods: Frontal lectures and, if applicable,exercises in a computer room, the latter will depend on the number of students actually attending the course.
