Syllabus
Prerequisites: Knowledge of the theoretical aspects of cognitive psychology and neuroscience. Knowledge of psychometric and methodological foundations of psychological research.
Target skills and knowledge: The aim of the course is to provide theoretical, conceptual and methodological tools for the analysis of attentive processes.
Examination methods: Oral

International students may take the exam in English.
Assessment criteria: The assessment of the student's preparation will be based on the understanding of the topics, on the acquisition of the methodologies proposed and on the ability to apply them.
Course unit contents: The course will present and discuss the main methods of study, assessment and rehabilitation of attention.
Definitions, history and methodology. Selective attention. Sustained attention. Executive functions.
Planned learning activities and teaching methods: Students are invited to submit short reports on topics agreed with the teacher. The practical classes are devoted to an in-depth study of the topics covered in class.
