Brief description of the degree course
Caratteristiche e finalità
Il corso prende in considerazione la persona, singolarmente e in gruppo nei contesti di lavoro e sociali - nei suoi aspetti cognitivi, affettivi e comportamentali - per interventi di diagnosi e sviluppo individuale e collettivo, di valutazione e selezione, di formazione, di analisi organizzativa. Tra gli obiettivi formativi: conoscenza dei modelli teorici del comportamento individuale e collettivo e loro applicazione agli ambiti del lavoro e nella comunità più allargata; padronanza di metodi e strumenti per la valutazione, la formazione, l'orientamento, la selezione, l'assessment e l'analisi organizzativa; acquisizione di conoscenze specifiche relative alle problematiche intragruppo e intergruppi, in organizzazioni e comunità, alla psicologia culturale e ai processi psicosociali connessi ai fenomeni migratori; capacità di progettare campagne informative, pubblicitarie e di marketing e di valutarne, tramite la ricerca, l'efficacia; conoscenza dei modelli teorici e delle ricerche empiriche nel campo della psicologia della comunicazione; capacità di progettare e implementare programmi di prevenzione e intervento; conoscenze specialistiche di metodologia della ricerca e competenze specifiche su metodi e strumenti per la misurazione di fenomeni psicologici e psicosociali.
Le competenze professionali dello psicologo formato in questo corso di laurea si esplicano verso la persona in difficoltà, ad esempio per stress-lavoro correlato, burnout o mobbing, oppure per carente orientamento o mancato adattamento al gruppo sociale o culturale di cui fa parte. Il laureato opera anche nella comunità più allargata per promuovere rapporti armoniosi tra gli appartenenti a culture diverse; in questo ambito usa, in prevalenza, gli strumenti propri della psicologia sociale e della psicologia della comunicazione, anche costruendo e implementando programmi specifici di valutazione, prevenzione, comunicazione e intervento.

Ambiti occupazionali
Il corso forma specialisti in scienze psicologiche; specialisti in scienze sociali; specialisti in scienze psicologiche e psicoterapeutiche (con possibilità di svolgere la professione psicoterapeutica dopo ulteriori studi in Scuole di specializzazione); psicologi del lavoro e dell'organizzazione. Le aree di attività sono quelle dello sviluppo sociale e organizzativo: realizzazione di interventi di prevenzione, intervento e terapia nei casi di disagio individuale e sociale; valutazione delle prestazioni e del potenziale, con riferimento alla selezione, all'orientamento al ruolo e al cambiamento lavorativo; diagnosi del funzionamento organizzativo; analisi e implementazione di processi di comunicazione e marketing in ambito aziendale e di mercato; progettazione e valutazione di interventi per favorire l'integrazione tra individui appartenenti a gruppi, etnie e culture diverse.
