Syllabus
Prerequisites: Students must demonstrate that they have the skills and knowledge corresponding to the 8 CFU of bachelor's degree. For further details please contact the teacher.
Target skills and knowledge: Advanced knowledge of communication, linguistic and critical tools aiming to a critical understanding and competence reworking of themes related to Spain and Spanish-America (through reading and analysis of literary texts, historical, political, social and general culture)
Examination methods: Written and oral examination and the elaboration of an essay
Assessment criteria: The evaluation of the student's preparation will be based on the understanding of the themes, on the acquisition of the concepts and methodologies proposed and on the ability to apply them autonomously and consciously
Course unit contents: Development and deepening of language knoledge in the various skills through reading and analysis of literary, historical, political, social and general texts related to Spain and the Spanish American countries. Knowledge of topics related to the Spanish and Spanish-American field.
Planned learning activities and teaching methods: Beside lectures and conferences and seminars offered, the course includes the active participation of students.
Attendance is strongly recommended. Non-attending students must agree a program with the professor during office hours.
