Syllabus
Prerequisites: The course requirements concern basic knowledge of management.
Target skills and knowledge: The aim of the course is providing students with concepts and tools to manage the organizational development of a firm from the organizational design and behaviour stand points. Topics will include process analysis and reengineering, organizational design for diversified companies (i.e. divisional form and matrix), organizational design for multinational corporations. Such organizational design topics will be complemented by corresponding organizational behaviour topics such as: teamwork, decision making, leadership, intercultural management, change management and negotiation.
Examination methods: Final written exam + group assignments
Assessment criteria: The final written exam consists of questions including questions on a case study (provided with the exam) and theoretical questions on all the materials.
Grup assignments required to solve the case studies.
