Syllabus
Prerequisites: Knowledge of private law.
Target skills and knowledge: Handle the basic legal aspects concerning doing international business: international law of contracts (in particular: sale of assets and shares), international and EU company law, international guarantees e performance bonds, EU insolvency law.
The first part shall be on the international and EU company law; the second part on the international sale, the third part on international guarantees e performance bonds, EU insolvency law.
Examination methods: Written test
Assessment criteria: Handling the legal aspects of the business law in the international context and the correct legal wording.
Course unit contents: The goal is to offer the legal tools in order to have a general knowledge about some of the legal aspects concerning the business in a national and international context.
Planned learning activities and teaching methods: Contracts and other materials shall be given to the students in order to have an effective contact with the international legal practice.
Additional notes about suggested reading: Papers, articles, etc. shall be uploaded on Moodle during the lessons
