Syllabus
Course unit contents: The course bypasses formal language competence (grammar, etc), and works on other skills which can compensate for limited language skills. These include fluency, intonation, pronunciation (mastering English stress-timing, and certain difficult sounds like 'th'), managing body language and eye-contact. Developing other skills, which can compensate for limited linguistic competence, works towards raising self-awareness and confidence and boosts the ability to interact and communicate in academic environments.
