Syllabus
Prerequisites: None.
Target skills and knowledge: The course aims to provide basic notions on the fundamental concepts and institutions of public and administrative law, as well as specific knowledge of town and country planning law.
Examination methods: Written partial exams.
Oral supplementary exams.
Assessment criteria: Evaluation of the level of knowledge and understanding of the topics discussed in class.
Course unit contents: Syllabus:
- the law as a social practice;
- the Constitution of the Italian Republic;
- the other sources of law;
- the Public Administration: organizational aspects;
- the Public Administration: functional aspects;
- the function of town and country planning;
- the protection of cultural heritage and landscape;
- tools of the country planning;
- tools for town planning;
- the control of the building activities.
Planned learning activities and teaching methods: Lectures.
Additional notes about suggested reading: The textbooks, indicated below between them alternatively, may be replaced by the lecture notes.
Some topics of the program will be discussed in class with a level of detail greater than that reserved to them by textbooks.
