Syllabus
Target skills and knowledge: The course aims to introduce students to the critical recognition of the role of jurisprudence, of the dialogue between Courts, and method of the legal systems of interpersonal relationships.
Examination methods: The examination will consist, for students attending the discussion of a paper whose topic will be agreed with the teacher within the first month before the official start of classes and no later than 15 December 2017.

For those who, in place of the essay, deemed the oral exam, it will focus on book n. 4, only pages 321-393, more, on alternative and choice of candidate:
- books n. 1, 6 (three chapters, student choice) alternatively
- books n. 2, 3, 6 (three chapters, student choice), alternatively
- books n. 5, 6 (three chapters, student choice).
It is considered preliminary knowledge of the text n. 4, in particular of Parts I, V, VI.
The course will take place in a seminar format.

Course unit contents: The course covers the analysis of method by which develops the cognitive process of the court decision.
First in connection with the reconstruction of facts and the assessment of evidence.
Then in relation to legislation, and to the construction of law, starting from the letter of te first.
The perspectives of analysis are those of generalist inductive knowledge and hypothetical deductive knowledge.
