Prerequisites: The courses of Calculus 1 and Linear Algebra and Geometry.
Target skills and knowledge: Get abilities with differential and integral calcolus in several real variables and its applications
Examination methods: Written examination, with exercises, and questions regarding the theoretical part. Oral examination for students whose written was graded almost sufficient.
Assessment criteria: Evaluation of the knowledge of the main theorems and definitions. Evaluation of the of the knowledge of the techniques of calculus in several real variables.
Course unit contents: Curves. Differential and integral calculus for functions of several real variables. Optimization. Implicit functions. Integral calculus on surfaces. Vector fields, differential forms and potentials, Gauss' and Stokes' theorems. Ordinary differential equations. Second order linear differential equations, Cauchy's theorem.
Planned learning activities and teaching methods: Lectures at blackboard and on tablet, class and office hours.
