Syllabus
Prerequisites: General knowledge of geometric design and orthogonal projections.
Target skills and knowledge: The student acquires knowledge about the methods of graphic and pictoria representation of the garden and landscape.
Examination methods: The final examination, concerns the evaluation of the exercises produced during the course and a project of garden or green area , independently performed by the student.
Assessment criteria: The evaluation will be expressed on the quality of the exercises produced in the classroom and on the final draft, which will contain all the graphics and pictorial elements learned during the program of study.
Course unit contents: Introduction to the course.
Graphic language and representation types.
Elements of visual perception.
Plant forms representation.
Color theory.
Geometric composition aimed at the representation of a green area.
Analysis and interpretation of a garden project.
Complete representation of a green area or a garden.
Planned learning activities and teaching methods: Lectures and laboratory exercises.
Additional notes about suggested reading: Tools for geometric design: drawing paper A3, smooth and rough, pencil drawing HB, 2B, F; compass, teams millimeter by 30° and 60°; stick graph by 60 cm; masking tape, soft rubber.
Tool for painting: ox hair brushes round tip No. 4, 8, 12. Primary colors in tempera good brand (yellow, magenta, cyan). Container with lid for water and cotton rag. Box of pastel colors 12/24, a good brand.
