Brief description of the degree course
Caratteristiche e finalità
Il corso si pone l'obiettivo di formare dei laureati magistrali che abbiano acquisito solide competenze specialistiche teoriche, storiche, tecniche e operative nel campo dello spettacolo, delle arti e della comunicazione visiva; fornisce oltre ai fondamenti teorici e filologici della storia dello spettacolo anche le tecniche e metodologie di analisi testuale e di elaborazione di prodotti multimediali. Il corso, grazie ai laboratori, ai seminari, a una serie di insegnamenti specifici, a contatti con case di produzione del territorio veneto per la realizzazione di stage, offre la possibilità di acquisire una serie di conoscenze pratiche relative all'ideazione e realizzazione di prodotti multimediali nonché conoscenze avanzate in ambiti interdisciplinari.
Il corso è organizzato in un unico curriculum. Si possono individuare: un percorso legato alla storia del teatro, che privilegia l'approccio teorico e metodologico allo studio dell'analisi del testo teatrale, sia in funzione dell'esito spettacolare che nel suo aspetto propriamente storico, linguistico, performativo e filologico; un percorso più propriamente cinematografico e multimediale, volto da una parte a privilegiare e approfondire gli aspetti storici, teorici, estetici, filologici, giuridici ed economici della storia del cinema, delle nuove forme di narrazione seriale e dall'altra a valorizzare gli aspetti ideativi e realizzativi di prodotti cinematografici e multimediali.

Ambiti occupazionali
Il corso forma specialisti nelle pubbliche relazioni dell'immagine; tecnici dei servizi ricreativi e culturali dell'organizzazione della produzione radiotelevisiva, cinematografica e teatrale. Tali figure professionali potranno esercitare funzioni di elevata responsabilità nelle istituzioni ed enti pubblici e privati operanti nel campo delle arti figurative, della comunicazione e dello spettacolo teatrale, cinematografico e radiotelevisivo, nonché in tutti i rami dell'editoria che richiedano competenze specifiche nell'ambito dello spettacolo e della comunicazione a stampa, radiotelevisiva e multimediale, oltre alle attività specialistiche come storico, archivista, critico, nonché ricercatore nell'industria dell'audiovisivo. Potranno infine proseguire gli studi nella prospettiva di un'ulteriore formazione scientifica orientata alla ricerca.
