Syllabus
Prerequisites: Basics of computer science
Target skills and knowledge: By also using e-learning computer tools, obtain the ability to:
- understand methods and architectures for health information systems, with particular attention to electronic medical records;
- Clinical reasoning from a methodological point of view, and decision support systems in the clinical field;
- understand algorithms, terminology systems and classifications (such as the ICD Classification);
- protocols-based systems;
- Use of the Web for Public Health (eg, Quality of Web Medical Information).
Examination methods: Test with about 28 questions (multiple choice and/or completing questions), and two practical exercises.
Assessment criteria: Ability to answer cross-cutting questions in reduced amounts of time, completeness of preparation, computer and computer applications skills.
