Brief description of the degree course
Caratteristiche e finalità
I laureati magistrali in Ingegneria meccatronica saranno in grado di: conoscere l'articolazione e l'interazione delle diverse componenti di un impianto industriale sia a livello di sistema (tipologie di sistemi produttivi, strutture e gestione di impianti) sia a livello di componente (progetto meccanico e controllo elettronico delle singole macchine); gestire progetti innovativi intervenendo nella ideazione e configurazione dei sistemi integrati; utilizzare gli strumenti quantitativi della simulazione e della ottimizzazione per condurre scelte efficienti di progettazione sia della parte meccanica, sia della parte elettronica/informatica. Le principali capacità/conoscenze curriculari specifiche sono invece le seguenti: avere la capacità di affrontare le problematiche legate alla scelta e al dimensionamento di massima dell'impiantistica meccanica nelle più comuni attività industriali; acquisire conoscenze delle tecniche fondamentali di controllo dei sistemi meccanici; acquisire conoscenza delle principali lavorazioni meccaniche; acquisire le conoscenze per il progetto e la scelta degli azionamenti elettrici industriali; acquisire la conoscenza dei principi fondamentali della progettazione elettronica digitale e della progettazione analogica, a livello di segnale e di potenza; acquisire la conoscenza dei principi, delle tecniche e degli strumenti software per sviluppare i programmi per il controllo di processi industriali in tempo reale; acquisire la conoscenza dei fondamenti relativi alle reti di comunicazioni industriali; acquisire la conoscenza sulle fondamentali tecniche di controllo evoluto.

I principali sbocchi occupazionali sono verso le aziende meccaniche che progettano e producono macchine e sistemi con dispositivi elettronici integrati, e verso le aziende elettromeccaniche ed elettroniche che progettano e producono apparecchiature e sistemi di controllo per macchine e sistemi meccanici.
