Brief description of the degree course
Caratteristiche e finalità
Il corso forma progettisti di sistemi elettronici in svariati settori, quali l'elettronica per l'informatica e le telecomunicazioni, l'elettronica industriale, l'elettronica per le applicazioni biomedicali, l'elettronica per impieghi civili (casa, ufficio, trasporti), l'elettronica per sistemi avionico-spaziali. La figura professionale dell'ingegnere magistrale sarà in grado di adeguarsi alla rapida e continua innovazione tecnologica, di interagire agevolmente con altri settori dell'Ingegneria e di operare in tutti gli ambiti applicativi dell'elettronica.

Ambiti occupazionali
Gli ingegneri elettronici e in telecomunicazioni e gli ingegneri progettisti di calcolatori e loro periferiche potranno trovare occupazione negli uffici di consulenza e di progettazione, nelle amministrazioni pubbliche, nei laboratori di ricerca e presso tutte le imprese che operano nei settori della produzione industriale di impianti e apparati elettronici, oppure presso imprese elettroniche, elettromeccaniche, aeronautiche e spaziali nei reparti di progettazione, di produzione e di collaudo sia in qualità di tecnici esperti per la supervisione nell'installazione di impianti e di apparati complessi. Potranno inoltre essere impiegati negli uffici tecnici per la definizione delle specifiche di sistema e nella certificazione della componentistica oppure, in qualità di esperti nel funzionamento e nell'uso della strumentazione, impiegati nei laboratori di misura, di diagnostica e di certificazione degli apparati e degli impianti.
