Syllabus
Course unit contents: Analytical methods, errors during during the measurement process, sampling techniques. Flow, temperature, pressure, level, mass, humidity, turbidity and viscosity measurements. Surface analysis and surface energy measurement. Interactions between matter and electromagnetic radiation: principles, techniques and instrumentation for atomic end molecular spectroscopy. Electrochemical methods of analysis. Chromatographic techniques (gas chromatography, HPLC, chromatography in supercritical conditions). Mass spectrometry. Thermal analysis. Automatic analysis.
