Syllabus
Prerequisites: Knowledge of representation systems (orthogonal projections, axonometry, perspective); skills with 2D and 3D drawing, knowledge of rendering softwares.
Target skills and knowledge: Main objective of the course is the undertsanding and representation of the architectural details and their role onto the project organization. It provides the
main knowledge of parametric representation - with an introduction about "memantic" modeling - and the fundamental skills for realization of the designed architecture through software BIM (Building Information Modeling)
Examination methods: Traditional
Assessment criteria: Oral examination of graphic works assigned during the course.
Course unit contents: executive drawing:
Graphic guidelines to prepare of the executive drawings of a design.
drafting of a "bird's eye" axonomotric view.
Organization of drawings:
substructure drawings (Tav. 1), structural drawings (tav. 2), distribution plan (Tav. 3), implants plan.

Detalis drawings:
detail drawings of reinforced concrete structure: plinth, pillar, beam and its reinforcement (Tav. 4)
detail drawings of reinforced concrete structure:
vertical connections, stairs (Tav. 5)

Software for the project: Revit and BIM.
Introduction to the algorithm 3D modeling.
Planned learning activities and teaching methods: The course is organized with a series of lectures on theoretical arguments, accompanied by class exercises and by workshops for the independent development of topics and themes of the year, agreed with the Laboratory of the History of Contemporary Architecture. The drawings produced are configured as Learning assessment.
