Brief description of the degree course
Caratteristiche e finalità
Il corso fornisce conoscenze e forma capacità professionali che garantiscono una visione completa delle attività e delle problematiche della vitivinicoltura. In particolare il corso considera i diversi aspetti della filiera vitivinicola, dalla coltivazione della vite alla produzione dell'uva e alla sua trasformazione, fino al consumo di vino e dei distillati. Sono curati anche aspetti riguardanti: sicurezza, qualità e salubrità dei prodotti vitivinicoli; economia ed etica nella produzione, conservazione e distribuzione; sostenibilità ambientale; consumo responsabile del vino e dei suoi derivati. Infine, il corso prepara tecnici abilitati alla professione di enologo in Italia e in Europa.

Ambiti occupazionali
Il laureato potrà svolgere compiti di gestione e controllo delle attività di coltivazione e produzione dell'uva, della sua trasformazione in vino e derivati, e della loro conservazione, distribuzione e somministrazione con l'obiettivo del miglioramento qualitativo dei prodotti della filiera vitivinicola, garantendo la massima sostenibilità ed ecocompatibilità delle attività.
La sua attività professionale si svolgerà principalmente nelle aziende viticole, in quelle vitivinicole, nelle industrie enologiche, negli enti pubblici e privati che conducono attività di analisi, controllo, certificazione e indagini per la tutela e la valorizzazione delle produzioni enologiche.
Il laureato potrà lavorare anche in aziende collegate alla produzione vitivinicola, che forniscono materiali, attrezzature, impianti, microrganismi, coadiuvanti e ingredienti. Il laureato può sostenere l'esame di abilitazione all'esercizio della professione di dottore agronomo e dottore forestale junior, perito agrario laureato e agrotecnico laureato.

Dalla triennale alla magistrale
Il corso dà accesso diretto al corso di laurea magistrale in Viticoltura, enologia e mercati vitivinicoli (corso interateneo).
