Syllabus
Prerequisites: Basic knowledge of Clinical Psychology (e.g., principal psychopahtological disorders)
Basic knowledge of psychology and psychophysiology of stress and of psychosomatics conditions
Basic knowledge of epidemiology (e.g., definitions of prevalence, incidence, risk factors etc.).
Examination methods: Written examination with multiple-choice and "fill-in the blank" questions.

What is health
Health-risk and protective behaviors
Reducing risk of disease at individual and population levels
Symptom percepetion, interpretation and response from the psychological perspective
The consultation in health psychology
Stress health and illness
The impact of illness on quality of life
