Oral examination. 
Course unit contents:

1. Elements of univariate and multivariate statistical methods:
Elements of descriptive statistics: frequency, indices of synthesis (position, variability and shape) and graphical representations (histogram, boxplot, scatterplot).
Elements of probability theory: discrete and continuous probability distributions.
Elements of statistical inference: sampling distributions, point and interval estimation, hypothesis testing, simple and multiple linear regression.
2. Design and analysis of experiments and Conjoint Analysis:
Oneway ANOVA, MultiWay ANOVA, Factorial Designs and Optimal Designs. Response Surface Methodology. Full profile and choice based conjoint analysis.
3. Nonparametric statistics:
Resampling methods: univariate and multivariate permutation tests.
