Prerequisites: English at B2 level according to the Common European Framework
Examination methods: All students must pass either the TAL B2 English test (all 4 skills, reading, writing, speaking, listening) OR hold an internationally valid certificate. See the moodle platform for the certificates which are accepted.

Course unit contents: During the course students will:
• analyse and produce different types of written and oral texts on current affairs topics;
• critically analyse newspaper texts in particular morpho-syntactic, lexical and semantic features;
• gather information and data, plan and make written, spoken and multimedia presentations in English.
